    • The iconic Eighth & Main Building was completed in 2013. It was the former Eastman Building which burned down in 1987. In 2001, a real estate developer planned to build a large condominium project. The foundation was excavated several floors below ground level and concrete work began, when the project ran out of money and became the infamous “Boise Hole.” Through the efforts of a local doctor, and regional real estate developer, the Eighth & Main Building was conceived and completed. It is the tallest building in Idaho, and has 17 floors of Class A Office Space.
