There are plenty of parking options in Uptown Waterloo, all of which are conveniently located within a few short steps of our offices.
Short Term Parking
Immediately in front of the building there is free 1 hour street parking on King Street. Across King Street there is free 2 hour parking in the Waterloo Town Square parking lot (behind TD Bank), as well as free 2 hour parking in other surface lots nearby such as the Station Lot (beside Paul Puncher Menswear), City Hall Lot, and the lot off Willis Way / Caroline Street.
Pay-as-you-go short term parking is also available in city operated lots. Rates and locations are available here.
Long Term Parking Passes
For more permanent parking arrangements, Intelligent Office offers monthly parking passes in the lot directly behind the building in the 22 King surface lot with access off Regina Street. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come first-serve basis to dedicated clients with full-time offices. Inquire with one of our staff for more information. Parking passes are also available from the City of Waterloo for parking in their uptown lots, of which there are a number within easy walking distance of the building.
There are also a number of private options to consider. Many of our clients have found alternative options that provide convenient parking within walking distance of the building at a more affordable price than public paid lots. These spaces are typically with private homeowners, churches and other businesses all located within the Uptown core who have excess parking available during the weekdays to rent out to people in need of daily parking Monday to Friday. For more information, please inquire with one of our staff.
22 King is also located on the new Waterloo Region Light Rain Transit Line (ION) currently under construction and scheduled to be operational in 2017. There will be a northbound transit station immediately across King Street from our building entrance and a southbound transit station a few steps away at the corner of Willis Way and Caroline Street. The LRT will provide a convenient, efficient, and comfortable way to get around Kitchener and Waterloo on public transit.
