Ralph Gregory, founder and chairman of Intelligent Office, is an entrepreneur with a diverse range of experience in multiple industries who thrives on building new companies and watching them succeed.
He owned his first business – a retail home electronics company – in the 1970s prior to purchasing a chain of mid-market radio stations in the Midwest and a paging company that served nine states. Ralph also ran a venture capital group for five years – an experience that inspired the development of Intelligent Office.
As a venture capitalist, Ralph only needed high-profile office space occasionally as he spent the majority of his time traveling or working from home. He devised a way for his secretary to transfer his phone calls to him seamlessly wherever he was located and realized that many other professionals would benefit from a similar arrangement. The experience led Ralph to launch a brand new industry – virtual officing – and started Intelligent Office, which provides clients with a prestigious business address for mail services, meeting space and virtual receptionist services.
Ralph’s wealth of experience across a variety of industries and markets has served as a valuable cornerstone during Intelligent Office’s early days and well into its current franchising success. Today, Ralph owns radio towers, a boat brokerage, a seat on the New York Stock Exchange and is an equity partner at a Michigan power plant.
