Are Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Running Your Company?

I have heard it said that the initial phone call establishes the tone for your business. The person answering that call becomes the personality of your company.  They are the first line of customer service.  Do you know who is answering your phone calls, or are snow white and the seven dwarfs running your company?  

Last week you called a local contractor looking to get information, a quote, and even possibly to spend money. The lady who answered was bright, chipper, and very cordial. She was so Happy to be talking to you.  After playing phone tag with the sales rep, you called back and got Sleepy, who wanted to help but couldn't stop yawning, and missed half of your information.  You called back later and got Doc, who had a reason and prescription for why you couldn't get a hold of anyone. The next day when you called to talk to the owner, Grumpy answered, and soon turned into Bashful when she realized she was dropping the ball. Your lucky its not allergy season because you know you would be dealing with Sneezy. At last you received a courtesy follow up call from Dopey, who tried to play dumb and like this situation hadn't actually happened.  The worst part about this whole scenario, besides the fact that you found another contractor to do the work, is that every one of these people sounded exactly the same. How can that be?
