Proficiency Testing, Inc. provides proficiency tests for accredited calibration and testing laboratories. Each test package contains a number of artifacts that the participant measures. Proficiency Testing then compares the participant’s results to results obtained from a reference laboratory. This is a central part of laboratories’ quality assurance system.

The Intelligent Office ships, receives and stores all my test packages. We have made standing arrangements for a weekly shipping day and I can request rush shipping of a package any time either with a phone call or an e-mail, allowing me to react rapidly to customer requests and unforeseen situations.

Most of my packages are sent by FedEx or UPS and working with The Intelligent Office ensures that there is always somebody there to receive and sign for packages. TIO staff checks the content of each package for damage upon receipt and alerts me if there is any problem.

Working with The Intelligent Office allows me to spend a fraction of my time operating Proficiency Testing and still compete against other proficiency testing services that have 2-3 full time staff. It also allows Proficiency Testing to operate uninterrupted while I travel to attend to my other business interests, sometimes for several weeks at a time.

We have a virtual company with 13 employees. Intelligent Offices has provided us with a great solution for holding small and larger group meetings.

The staff is extremely easy to work with. They have been very flexible and responsive in helping us book the space we need. This is a much more affordable and flexible solution than having to lease permanent office space.
