EXECUTIVE BIOS
Ralph Gregory, President
A serial entrepreneur who thrives on building new companies and watching them succeed, Ralph Gregory brings a diverse range of experience in multiple industries to Intelligent Office. He owned his first business - a retail home electronics business - in the 1970s, then bought a chain of mid-market radio stations in the Midwest and a paging company that served nine states. Today, Gregory owns radio towers, a Michigan boat brokerage, a seat on the New York Stock Exchange and is an equity partner at a Michigan power plant.
Ralph also ran a venture capital group for five years - an experience that spawned Intelligent Office. During his stint as a venture capitalist, Ralph needed high-profile office space only occasionally, and realized that many other professionals were in the same boat. During the rest of the time, he was on the road or working from home, and worked out a deal with his secretary, who transferred phone calls to him seamlessly wherever he was. The experience led Ralph to launch a brand new industry and start Intelligent Office, which provides clients with a prestigious business address for mail services, meeting space and a secretarial level of non-geographic communications.
Born and raised in Chicago, Ralph earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University and is a Vietnam veteran. His wealth of experience in a variety of industries and markets has served as valuable cornerstone during Intelligent Office's early days and well into its current franchising success. Married with three children, Ralph is an avid skier and scuba diver who loves the outdoors and spending time with his family.
